Oh God, our Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.
You are the foundation of our faith, the substance of our hopes, and the proof of the unseen.
Through the examples of the ancients, we are inspired to cast off every encumbrance and run with endurance.
Dear Lord, we seek Your comfort in times of uncertainty.
As wealth and material possessions fade, remind us of the true riches found in Your kingdom.
Help us to be generous, to share our earthly blessings, and to listen to the cries of those in need.
We express our gratitude for the spiritual wealth You provide.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Teach us to value the eternal over the temporal, and to store up treasures in heaven.
We acknowledge our need for Your guidance and strength.
In moments of temptation, grant us the courage to choose righteousness over sin.
May we be willing to sacrifice for the sake of purity, entering Your kingdom maimed rather than whole and lost.
We pray for the wisdom to be peacemakers and bearers of Your light.
Let us be salted with fire, preserving the goodness You have instilled within us.
Keep us from losing our flavor, that we may maintain peace with one another.
