Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all your many blessings. Guide us with your wisdom,
Comfort us with your love,
Strengthen us with your might,
Restore us with your grace. Bless us, our family, and all we hold dear,
With wealth that enriches,
And a force that empowers. We acknowledge the blessings we have received,
And continue to receive each day. We ask for your strength in times of weakness,
Your wisdom in times of confusion,
Your healing in times of pain,
Your guidance in times of doubt. We confess our shortcomings and mistakes,
And seek your forgiveness and release of all burdens. We pray for ourselves, our family, our friends,
And all your children, near and far. We lift up their needs and well-being,
And surrender them into your loving care. We have a silent request, known only to you,
And trust in your perfect will to provide. We offer you a promise of kindness to others,
And pray you accept this simple act from our hearts. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Way, our Truth, our Life,
We surrender ourselves into his hands,
Strengthened by the promised Spirit of God,
Living in trust, hope, and discipleship. O Lord, hear our voice when we call;
Have mercy and answer.
Our hearts speak to you:
“Seek your face, O Lord.” Your face, O God, we seek;
Do not hide from us.
Be our help, our God;
Do not abandon or forsake us. Instruct us in your ways,
Lead us on paths that are straight.
Protect us from our enemies,
And from false witnesses who rise against us. We are sure we shall see your goodness,
In the land of the living.
We hope in you, hold firm, and take heart;
Our hope is in the Lord. Faith is the realization of what is hoped for,
And evidence of things not seen.
Surrounded by a cloud of witnesses,
We cast off every burden and sin. We persevere in the race set before us,
Empowered by the Holy Spirit. As we follow the way of discipleship,
May we be filled with the Holy Spirit,
Speaking in tongues, prophesying,
And debating boldly about your Kingdom. Jesus has promised to be with us,
In every circumstance.
He is our peace in times of trouble,
For he has conquered the world. We pray these things to you, our Lord God,
Through Christ, in whom we trust. And it is so.
