Remy and His Magical Ears

In a peculiar town where animals wore clothes and talked like humans, there lived a young, bouncy rabbit named Remy. Remy, unlike other rabbits, had an enormous pair of ears twice the size of his body. Now, these weren’t just big, floppy ears — they were magical. When Remy listened very carefully, he could hear whispers of the wind, secrets of the forest, and stories from miles away.

One sunny afternoon, while resting under a tree, Remy heard a faint cry for help carried by the wind. It was Ladybird Lila, stuck in a thorny bush on the other side of the forest. Without wasting a moment, Remy hopped his way through the dense forest, following the sound of Lila’s soft cries. With a swift move, he used his mighty ears to lift Lila out of the prickly bush, saving her from harm.

The news of Remy’s heroic act spread like wildfire among the animals in the town. Every day, Remy used his super hearing to help someone in need — he saved Mr. Tortoise from falling into the river, found Mrs. Squirrel’s lost acorns, and even helped Baby Sparrow learn to whistle. The animals of the town, once wary of Remy’s unusually large ears, now admired and respected him.

However, Remy’s proudest moment came when he heard the faintest heartbeat under the snow during winter. It was Tiny Mouse, lost and freezing. Remy dug him out and wrapped him in a warm leaf, saving his life.

From that day on, Remy was not just a rabbit with big ears, but a true hero of the town — proving that being different can indeed be very special. His magical ears, once a source of embarrassment, had become his greatest strength.

Virtue: Kindness — Our differences, embraced, become the gifts we give the world.
