Daily Prayer 2024 May 31

Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.

We praise you with songs of thanksgiving, acknowledging your goodness. Before all the living, we declare the works of your hands. In your honor, we proclaim your deeds, never ceasing to praise you.

Shout for joy, O daughter Zion, for the Lord has turned away your enemies. Be glad, O Israel, for the King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst. Fear not, for the Lord, your God, is a mighty savior, rejoicing over you with gladness.

Let our love be sincere, hating what is evil and holding on to what is good. May we serve you with fervent spirit and rejoice in hope. By our actions, we help to bless even those who persecute us, showing honor and hospitality.

As Mary proclaimed your greatness, so does our spirit rejoice in you, our Savior. You have looked with favor on your servants, doing wonderful things for us. Your mercy extends to those who love you, from generation to generation.

Continue blessing me, mine, and those of my family, with wealth and mighty force. We acknowledge the blessings we have received and continue to receive. We ask for your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance.

We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and seek your forgiveness. Release us from the burdens that weigh upon our hearts. We pray for ourselves, our family, friends, and all your children.

We lift their needs and well-being. We surrender to you, trusting in your eternal word that remains forever. We also have a silent request, known only to you.

We offer you a promise of this Simple Act and pray you accept it. We pray these things to you our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.

Reflections from Tobit 12, Zephaniah 3, Romans 12, Luke 1
