Daily Prayer 2024 June 20

Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.

From the heights of Your sanctuary, where You dwell in majesty, look down upon us. You are our Father and Redeemer, from of old is Your name.

As Elijah was taken up to heaven, Elisha asked for a double portion of his spirit. Grant us, too, a measure of that spirit, to face our challenges with faith and courage.

In our acts of charity, prayer, and fasting, let us be sincere, seeking no praise but Yours. May our rewards be not of this world, but of Your kingdom, where true treasure lies.

Continue blessing me, mine, and those of my family, with wealth and mighty force. We are grateful for the guidance You provide and the comfort You bring to our lives. Grant us the wisdom to discern Your will and the strength to follow Your path.

We admit our imperfections and seek Your grace, knowing You are the source of healing. Lift from us the weight of guilt, and fill our hearts with Your peace and forgiveness. We pray for the well-being of our loved ones and all who are dear to us.

In silence, we hold our deepest needs and desires, trusting in Your understanding. We commit to a simple act of kindness, hoping it pleases You and serves Your purpose. We offer these prayers and thoughts in the name of Christ, our Lord. And It Is So.

Reflections from Matthew 6, Kings 2, Isaiah 63
