Daily Prayer 2024 June 11

Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.

We acknowledge our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. May we be strong in You and in Your mighty power, armored with Your Word and faith.

In Christ, we aim to present everyone fully mature, laboring with Your energy powerfully at work in us. May we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, for the sake of the Gospel.

Your hand was with the early believers, a great number believed and turned to the Lord. Barnabas and Saul taught great numbers, and in Antioch, the disciples were first called Christians.

As the prophets and teachers in Antioch worshiped and fasted, the Holy Spirit directed them. They laid hands on Barnabas and Saul and sent them off, embarking on Your work.

You call us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, to let our light shine before others. May our good deeds glorify You, as we live out Your commandments in our daily lives.

Continue blessing me, mine, and those of my family, with wealth and mighty force. Acknowledge the blessings we have received and continue to receive. We ask for Your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance.

We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and seek Your forgiveness. Release us from all burdens, as we lift up the needs of our loved ones. We surrender to You, trusting in Your eternal word that remains forever.

We also have a silent request, known only to You. We offer You a promise of this Simple Act and pray You accept it. We pray these things to You our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.

Reflections from Ephesians 6, Colossians 1, Acts 11, Acts 13, Mathew 5
