Oh God, our Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings. You, who establish your chambers in the heavens and lay the foundation upon the earth. You call forth the waters of the sea and pour them out upon the face of the earth.
Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for your steadfast love and mighty works. As you defended Jerusalem from the hands of the oppressor, so too protect us from adversity. You are the God who hears our prayers and saves us for the sake of your name.
We ask for your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance. Teach us to value what is sacred, to seek the narrow path that leads to life. We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and seek your forgiveness.
We pray for ourselves, our family, friends, and all your children. We lift up their needs and well-being. We surrender to you. We also have a silent request, known only to you.
We offer you a promise of this Simple Act and pray you accept it. We pray these things to you our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.
