Oh God, our Heavenly Father, thank you for all your many blessings.
Bless us and mine. Restore us with strength and mighty force. Guide us in the ways of truth and righteousness. Strengthen our faith and deepen our love for you. Help us to walk in your light and keep us from sin.
We offer a silent request: that we may always turn to you, our Father, in times of need. We promise to seek your face continually, as the psalmist exhorts us. Keep us close to your heart, O Lord, and guide our steps into paths of righteousness.
As we gather today, let us remember the Twelve Apostles whom Jesus sent forth with authority over unclean spirits and every disease. They were chosen from among us—Simon Peter, Andrew, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot. Their names are inscribed in history, but their mission is our own: to proclaim that the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Send us forth as disciples to seek out those who are lost—our family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues. May we be instruments of your love and mercy, bringing hope and healing wherever we go. Teach us to live in such a way that others may see your glory reflected through our lives.
We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and ask for your forgiveness. Release all burdens from us, O Lord, and grant us the grace to carry on with courage and resilience.
For ourselves, for mine, and for those of my family, we pray. Lift up their needs and well-being into your hands. Give them provision so that they may share in the joy of serving you with a grateful heart. Let our gifts be multiplied through you, that we may continually give back to others what we have received.
We pray these things to you, our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.
