Oh God, our Heavenly Father, thank you for all your many blessings.
In today’s Gospel reading from Matthew 9:18-26, we hear about an official who was so deeply concerned for his daughter’s life that he implored Jesus to lay his hand on her. His faith and trust in Christ’s power were rewarded with the remarkable healing of his child.
Let us ask God to strengthen our own faith and courage as we face challenges and seek guidance in our lives. May He guide us to be faithful servants, ready to share His blessings with others.
In today’s first reading from Hosea 2:16-22, we hear how the Lord promises to restore Israel’s relationship through a new covenant of love and mercy. This promise reminds us that God is always willing to forgive and renew our hearts.
May we embrace this promise and hold onto His steadfast love in all circumstances.
In the Responsorial Psalm 145:2-9, we are reminded that the Lord is gracious and merciful, and He blesses us with His goodness every day. May we give thanks for these blessings and praise Him always.
Let us acknowledge our shortcomings and seek forgiveness from God, just as the woman in the Gospel sought healing by touching Jesus’s cloak. Her faith has saved her, and may it also save us.
We offer you a promise to continue living out this faith and trust, as we share His love and mercy with others.
And so, we pray these things to you our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.
