Oh God, our Heavenly Father, thank you for all your many blessings.
We are gathered today as we reflect upon the teachings of Jesus Christ. As he sent his Apostles forth to proclaim the Kingdom of heaven, may we be guided by his words and actions.
May we always seek guidance in our journey through life, just as Jesus instructed us to do when he said, “As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.'”
Grant us wisdom and strength to heal those who are sick, to restore the broken, and to bring light into darkness. May your love and mercy cleanse us from our sins and drive away evil spirits.
We give thanks for all the blessings we have received and continue to receive. With gratitude in our hearts, we ask for your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance.
In this time of reflection, let us acknowledge our shortcomings and mistakes. We confess them to you with humility and seek your forgiveness and release from all burdens that weigh upon us.
We ask for the grace to care for ourselves, our family, friends, and all your children. May we lift up their needs and well-being and surrender to you in everything we do.
As we enter this day, may we be filled with peace and joy. If we are received into a home or community, may that place be blessed by your presence. If not, let our peace return to us.
We ask for the gifts of provision so that we may share them with those in need. This is part of our duty as followers of Christ—to serve others and make a difference in the world around us.
Amen.
