Daily Prayer 2024 June 30

Oh God, our Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.  You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, desiring instead that we turn from our ways and live.  For You did not make death, nor do You rejoice in the destruction of the living.

Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Though He was rich, for our sake He became poor, so that through His poverty we might become rich.  Help us to excel in the grace of giving, to be generous and willing to share.

We ask for Your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance.  As Jesus raised Jairus’s daughter and healed the woman with the issue of blood,  So do we seek Your miraculous touch in our lives, to restore and make whole.

We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and seek Your forgiveness.  We pray for ourselves, our family, friends, and all Your children.  We lift up their needs and well-being. We surrender to You.

We also have a silent request, known only to You.  We offer You a promise of this Simple Act and pray You accept it.  We pray these things to You our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.

Reflections from Ezekiel 33, Wisdom 1, Corinthians 8, Mark 5
