Dear most Gracious Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings.
Like seeds in rich soil, let us embrace Your word with generous and good hearts. May we bear fruit through perseverance, reflecting the depth of our faith.
We are the descendants renowned among nations, acknowledged as blessed by the Lord. Our joy is in You, Lord, for You have clothed us with salvation and justice. As a garden nurtures its plants, so You nurture justice and praise among us.
We heed the charge to proclaim Your word, to be persistent in all circumstances. May we be steadfast in teaching, patient in reprimand, and encouraging in love. As Paul poured himself out, so may we compete well, finish the race, and keep the faith.
In the story of young Jesus in the temple, we see the wisdom beyond years. May we seek understanding and be obedient, treasuring Your teachings in our hearts. For in Your presence, we find our true home, and in Your service, our true calling.
Continue blessing me, mine, and those of my family, with wealth and mighty force. Acknowledge the blessings we have received and continue to receive. We ask for Your strength, wisdom, healing, and guidance.
We confess our shortcomings and mistakes and seek Your forgiveness. Release us from all burdens, as we lift up the needs of our loved ones. We surrender to You, trusting in Your eternal word that remains forever.
We also have a silent request, known only to You. We offer You a promise of this Simple Act and pray You accept it. We pray these things to You our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.
Reflections from Luke 2, Luke 8, Timothy 4, Isaiah 61
