Oh God, our Heavenly Father, Thank you for all your many blessings. In the words of Jesus, we find comfort and guidance for the journey ahead. He prepares us for the coming of the Advocate, the Spirit of truth from the Father.
Jesus’ departure, though filled with grief, is a necessary step for the Spirit to come. The Holy Spirit will arrive to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. About sin, because people do not believe in Jesus; about righteousness, as He returns to the Father; And about judgment, for the ruler of this world is condemned.
This passage reassures us of the Holy Spirit’s role in guiding us into all truth. Empowering us to continue the mission of Jesus, the Spirit stands as our Advocate. We are reminded to hold fast to the teachings of Christ, even in the face of trials.
Continue to bless me, mine, and those of my family, with wealth and mighty force. We lift up our silent requests, knowing that the Spirit intercedes for us. In gratitude, we offer you a promise of this [Simple Act] and pray for your guidance.
We pray these things to you, our Lord God, through Christ. And It Is So.
